Meet Our Teachers

Director
Margarita Ronayne
Margarita is in her first year as sole director of Greek School. She has been part of our program for the past 10+ years.
Margarita was born in Athens, Greece, is a trained linguist, and has a passion for science and music, which has led her to teaching piano lessons as well as serving in many of the church's music ministries to include, the chant stand, youth choir co-director, and the church choir. She is also a student with the School of Byzantine Music.
She is currently teaching Group Gamma.

Teacher
Michelle Zois
Michelle is the a former Greek School Director and visionary of Greek School. She has been the heart and soul of our program for the past 30+ years.
Michelle is origianlly from Greece and enjoys traveling, but especially loves the annual trips back to Greece with her husband, children and grandchildren. Her other passion is Philoptochos, our church's philanthropic organization, which touches the lives of many people in need.
Michelle is currently teaching our Graduating Class.

Teacher
Sia Zois
Sia is a Dayton native and Dayton Annunciation Greek School Alumni. She is in her 2nd year teaching for Greek School 2 years.
Sia is a student at the University of Dayton. She is also a very active member of our church community volunteering with the Maids of Athena as well as serving in the alto section of the choir.
She is currently teaching Group Alpha.

Teacher
Dr. Ioannis Tzanidis
Dr. Tzanidis has been teaching for Greek School for the past 5+ years.
Dr. Tzanidis is an electrical engineer and a father of 2 boys who are very active in our church community. Originally, from Greece, he comes from a long line of devout Orthodox Christians who are committed to serving the church in any capacity needed.
He is currently teaching Group Delta.

Dimitra Zacharopoulou
Dimitra is in her first year teaching for Greek School.
Dimitra is originally from Greece, but has lived in Ohio for 2 years. She is an interior designer, but has been an instructor in related Educational Institutes in the field of Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems
She is currently teaching Group Beta.

Floater Teacher
Argyro Diamanti
Argyro has been teaching for Greek School for the past 10+ years.
Argyro is originally from Greece and is an Early Intervention Specialist in the Dayton Area. She brings a unique skill set and years of experience which, as a floater, will further allow us to meet all students at their skill level and provide inclusive instruction in individual and small groups.
She will be helping in all classrooms as needed.
